Let me introduce Canoe The Thames. 

Canoe The Thames is a charity event organised by Plunge Productions Ltd.

Canoe The Thames is not a charity and will not be taking individual sponsorship in order to pass it on to its  chosen charity. The money that we will handle will be the registration fee that will cover the cost of organising the event.

As we are not a charity and are not handling the individual sponsorship money we are unable to guarantee that individuals taking part in the event are truly going to donate their money to charity. It is up to the sponsor to decide whether they trust the participant. Their sponsorship form does constitute a legally binding contract with you but it may be hard to check. So please sponsor with care.

Regarding the event. Whilst we will do everything possible to ensure the safety of the participants we do not take responsiblity for their safety. Please canoe with care.
